Hi Guys

    Where is the year going, we are now well in to July and soon we will be getting ready for our 17th Anniversary

which will be celebrated at our MAG meeting on Saturday 13th September 2008.

  Thank you to the Committee guys who filled in for me

while I was over in the UK visiting my boyfriend.

    It was a very nice evening for our Christmas in July.

Well done to John O’Dea who arranged most of the

catering.  We had heaps of mouth watering food.

    Thanks to all the guys in the kitchen - Jeff, Ron, Gordon and Doug, who work hard at every meeting to make our supper table look so inviting — and it really did.

    I wish to acknowledge the wonderful support we           receive from ACON, without such support we would        definitely not be as successful as we are.

  We have been allocated a new room to store all our   equipment etc in and we will soon be moving into that.

It’s a much bigger room and closer to the kitchen and

supper room.   Thank you ACON

   As we move into the colder months some of our older members will find it more difficult to attend our bi-monthly meetings, just remember you are always in our thoughts and don’t hesitate to call us if you need our help at all.

    To all our members who are unwell, we wish you all a speedy return to good health, especially Terry Morrison and Ted Hansford who are going through tough times right now. Our thoughts are with you guys.
