A FRIENDSHIP, SO COMPLETE.
(Dedicated and Written to a Friend)
What
helps to build a friendship, so complete?
Free from
misunderstanding and social defeat.
In a
friendship my friend, it’s a two way street.
Both
parties must meet half way,
for the
friendship to last and always be there to stay.
One speaks
of friendship doors that close.
Which party
is the blame for this, who really knows?
It’s no
good for one to sit in one’s chair,
expecting
everyone around to run to them and care.
One has to
get out of their chair and dare,
plan things
together, you both can do and share.
Take an
interest in what others do and say.
This will
attract them to take an interest in you,
not want to
walk past, but want to stay.
Eventually
others will do things, you would like them to do.
In a friendship so complete,
There are
many things to learn and one’s past to review.
One mustn’t
think only of one’s self
and all
that matters to them, each day through.
Keep in
touch with your friends regularly.
Don’t
expect them to continually run after you.
A friendship so complete, is when thoughts in friendship
for self
are none, only then will two parties, think as one.

MAGnet
MAGnet —
is our mid week venue for mature gay and bi men.
Every
Wednesday evening meeting at
the Taxi Club, on Flinders
Street, Darlinghurst, from 6:30pm
for a meal. It is a great place to
be at.
We recommend guys join
the Taxi Club — it’s only $11 per year
and you can enjoy all the benefits. MAG invites all mature age gay and
bisexual men to join our guys
in having a meal, a drink and socialising.
