Newsletter
now in full colour
The previous Edition of the Newsletter was printer with
all pages in full colour.
I
am pleased to report that I have received a number of letters complementing
MAG for this. I must admit that
printing the Newsletter in full colour does make it more tempting to read,
and I sincerely thank all who have taken the time to write. I must pay
tribute to ACON and the lovely Danny who kindly prints it for us. Thanks
Danny.
Our
AGM On Saturday, 10th May we held our
Annual General Meeting. The results of
the erection,
oh dear I mean the election was that all the current members of
the Executive and Committee stood
for re-election and were returned unopposed.
We also have two additional members in Bradley and Roscoe to give some new blood.
I
sincerely thank the guys of the Committee who continue to serve MAG, as
without their efforts and commitment, MAG would not be the success that it
is.
This
also goes for all the other hard working guys on our Catering Committee,
our Greeters, Noel from MAGIC, and others who assist whenever we
need something done, such as inserting the Newsletters into the
envelopes. Thank you everyone.
2008 MAG Memberships
Just
a reminder to those readers who have not yet renewed their MAG Memberships
for 2008, there is still time for you to do so. The cost is only $10.00. I would ask
all to kindly think about making a
financial commitment to MAG.
To those generous guys who have
renewed — thank you so
much.
Requests
From time to time I receive
requests on various matters/items.
In
this edition of the Newsletter, I am seeking assistance from 2 gentlemen —
one in NY and the other in Tassie, who both are seeking guys to email them. The NY gentlemen is 58 years old and lives
in Sydney for 4 months and the remainder in NY. The Tassie guy is 71 years old and has not
been able to chat or mix with gay persons for many years. If any readers are prepared to ‘correspond’ to these gentlemen, kindly ring me
or see me at any MAG meeting and I will give you their details.
Ill
Health A number of MAG Members are not
well at the present time, I am sorry to report. This also includes our very own Steve
Ostrow, who is recovering from a knee
operation. We do send our best
wishes to all for better days health wise, ahead.
Best
wishes David,
