OUR
MISUNDERSTOOD SOCIETY
Thursday, 5thJune 2008.
Our
misunderstood society, how do we start, to get to their heart.
Our
lifestyle is not a temporary game, not all gay people are the same.
Our
hearts are where our feeling are, everyone must live without mar.
Our
society, gay life we may, display being gay on a Mardi Gras float.
Why
the disarray? Let AIDS wipe out the gays, this we learn they gloat.
Our
society is made up of creative and talented people, more than a few.
Real
gay life happens behind the scenes, society
wouldn’t have a clue.
We
are a brotherhood, that’s how we survive, love, support get us through.
Diversity
makes up our life, we are not deviant as
society have us view.
Being
gay is a lifestyle, give it respect its due, let all in life do as they do.
Brotherhood
got us through; we did what we know we should do.
Maybe
our real gay life is happy behind the scenes, and not for public view.
As
for our misunderstood society presumptions, that lack any concrete clue.
Our
gay lifestyle, within developed our own respect, life will do as it will do.
Why
should there be life’s disarrays, and AIDS to wipe out our gays.
Society’s
misunderstandings, will they end, or who will change their ways?
